The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements on US 18 from Jefferson Street in Fennimore to County Line Road in Montfort, Grant County.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30p.m., at Fennimore Memorial Building, 850 Lincoln Ave, Fennimore. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
During construction, pavement will be replaced along the project corridor. Additional improvements include updated curb and gutter, new storm sewer, pavement markings, centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and updated street lighting in Fennimore. Construction is anticipated in 2028.
