Public meeting for WIS 213 project in Rock County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss design and environmental aspects of proposed improvements on WIS 213 from WIS 11 to WIS 59 in Rock County.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Creekside Place Community Center, 102 Maple Street, Evansville. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.

The proposed project would address pavement conditions along the corridor. Improvements include roadway resurfacing, widening of the paved shoulder, box culvert replacements, and safety improvements at the WIS 213 and WIS 59 intersection and two curves near Old 92 and County M. Construction is scheduled for 2027.
