Release date: February 12, 2024

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public input on improvements along US 151 from Beaverland Parkway to Hemlock Road in Beaver Dam, Dodge County.

A presentation detailing the US 151 project are available to view on the project website at Wisconsin Department of Transportation US 151 (Beaverland Parkway to Hemlock Road) - Dodge County (wisconsindot.gov).

The purpose of this project is to address the current cable guard conditions on US 151. Proposed improvements include replacing the existing cable guard within the project limits, widening median crossovers, and regrading as necessary adjacent to new cable guard to ensure proper slope requirements are met. US 151 will remain open under single lane closures and median shoulder closures during construction. Construction is anticipated for 2025.

All persons interested in the project are encouraged to view the website and provide input by contacting project staff via email, postal mail, or phone. Your comments will assist WisDOT in developing a project that will serve the needs of the traveling public and community. Your input is welcome and appreciated throughout the design process. Questions and comments can be directed to WisDOT Project Manager Craig Hardy at craig.hardy@dot.wi.gov, or (608) 246-5406, or mailed to the WisDOT Southwest Region, 2101 Wright Street, Madison, WI 53704.
