The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is continuing work on the 14 mile, I-43 North-South reconstruction project, between Silver Spring Drive and WIS 60, in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties. As part of the project, adjacent Jean Nicolet Road will be reconstructed between Bender Road and Green Tree Road in the city of Glendale.;
Beginning Monday, March 6:
- The southern segment of Jean Nicolet Road, between Bender Road and Brentwood Lane, is scheduled to close to traffic for roadway reconstruction through late 2023.
- Fairfield Court, just west of Jean Nicolet Road, is scheduled to close to traffic for utility work, roadway reconstruction, and realignment through late 2023.
Detour Route:
Motorists are encouraged to use Bender Road, Green Bay Avenue (WIS 57), Green Tree Road, and the northern segment of Jean Nicolet Road to get around these closures. Access to Nicolet High School remains open from the north.
