First public meeting set for WIS 50 (Main Street) project in Lake Geneva

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will host the first public involvement meeting to share details on the WIS 50 (Main Street) improvement project planned in Lake Geneva. The proposed project would improve approximately 2.5 miles of WIS 50 (Main Street) from Forest Street to Grand Geneva Way, over the 2027 and 2028 construction seasons.

  • 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Lake Geneva City Hall (626 Geneva St, Lake Geneva, WI 53147)

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and provide their input. The meeting will be held in an open-house format with maps and other materials on display, and WisDOT representatives available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. Those who would like an interpreter present at the meeting can contact the WisDOT project representative listed below three business days prior to the meeting. Deaf or hard of hearing persons can utilize the Wisconsin Telecommunication Relay System (dial 711) to contact the project representative.
