Public meeting for US 14 in Sauk County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements on US 14 from Richland County line to the Wisconsin River in Sauk County.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Spring Green Community Library, 230 E Monroe Street, Spring Green. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.

Proposed improvements include resurfacing US 14 between the Richland County line and the Wisconsin River. Additional improvements include replacing guardrail, centerline rumble strips, new pavement markings, and two intersection improvements at US 14/WIS 23 south and US 14/Rainbow Road. Traffic signals will be placed at US 14/WIS 23 intersection and a roundabout will be placed at the US 14/Rainbow Road intersection. Construction is currently scheduled for 2027.
