Release date: April 3, 2024

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements on US 12 (Wisconsin Dells Parkway) from WIS 13 in Wisconsin Dells to E. Adams Street in Lake Delton; and WIS 13 median west of the US 12 intersection in Wisconsin Dells, Sauk County.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Frank Fischer Senior Center, 20 Wisconsin Dells Parkway, Wisconsin Dells. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project, discuss business coordination, and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.

The US 12 project is designed to include a 5-lane roadway with two lanes in each direction separated by a two-way-left-turn lane in the median, updated pavement, curb and gutter, signals and pedestrian crossings, and a shared use path constructed on the west side of the road between County A and Olympus Road. The WIS 13 median west of US 12 will update the median opening to allow eastbound left turns only. Construction is anticipated for 2026.
