Public meeting set for WIS 38 Root River bridge project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is hosting a public involvement meeting to discuss the scope and schedule of the WIS 38 Root River bridge reconstruction project. This project is located on Northwestern Avenue (WIS 38) between County MM and Rapids Drive in Racine County.

Tuesday, April 25
4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Cesar Chavez Community Center
2221 Douglas Avenue, Racine

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting and provide valuable input. WisDOT will be giving a brief presentation at the top of every hour (4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm). Maps and other materials describing the project will be on display, and WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis. Comment forms will be available for everyone to provide their thoughts and comments.

The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. Deaf or hard of hearing persons needing assistance may contact Justin Suydam, WisDOT Project Manager, via the Wisconsin Telecommunication Relay System (dial 711). To allow time for arranging assistance, please call no later than three working days prior to the meeting.
