Lane closures on US 12, WIS 312 necessary for bridge inspections

​​Routine inspections pla​nned for four Chippewa River bridges in city of Eau Claire

Motorists will encounter lane closures next week on bridges carrying state highways over the Chippewa River in Eau Claire because of routine inspections.

  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 10: The right lane on the east- and westbound US 12 (Clairemont Avenue) bridges over the river will be closed.
  • 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 11: The right lane on the east​- and westbound WIS 312 (North Crossing) bridges will be closed.

Motorists should expect delays and might want to consider an alternate route.

Schedules are dependent on weather conditions and subject to change.
