Road will be closed as crews replace a culvert near the US 45 and US 8 intersection

US 45 will be closed starting from noon Aug. 14 until noon Aug. 18 near the intersection with US 8 by Monico. US 45 traffic will be detoured on WIS 64, WIS 55 and US 8.
The closure is necessary as crews replace the culverts carrying Monico Creek below US 45. The work is part of a reconstruction project of the US 8 and US 45 intersection.
