WIS 11 Resurfacing (Cobb Road to WIS 120) - Walworth County

 

Overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to resurface 6.4 miles of WIS 11, from Cobb Road to WIS 120, in Walworth County. The purpose of the project is to improve​ the pavement condition and ride quality along WIS 11, as well as to address beam guard and drainage concerns.

Proposed improvements include:

  • Resurfacing of WIS 11 for approximately 6.4 miles
  • Replace the beam guard underneath the I-43 bridges
  • Repair/replace cross culverts (Minor real-estate acquisition may be needed in these area)
  • Preserve US 12 bridges with deck seal

Traffic Impacts:

Traffic under flagging operations or a detour are still being evaluated.

Schedule:

Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2030 but may be advanced to 2028 if funding is available.
