Location
Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to resurface 3.6 miles of WIS 83 in Racine County. Proposed improvements include:
- Mill 4–inches of existing asphalt and replace it with 4–inches of new asphalt.
- Apply sealer on the WIS 11 bridge decks over the Fox River and CN Railroad.
- Maintenance of drainage ditches and culverts.
- Adjust and repair the beam guard at the WIS 11 bridges over the Fox River and CN Railroad.
Schedule
Construction is scheduled for 2028 but could be advanced to 2027 if funding is available.
Traffic Impacts
Traffic staging options are still being evaluated.
