Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing a barrier wall project along the westbound outside shoulder of I-94 in Milwaukee County, from 0.2 miles east of Hawley Road to Zablocki Drive. The project includes installing a temporary concrete barrier on top of a 4-foot concrete slab.
Traffic Impacts
Potential traffic impacts include daytime shoulder closures with all lanes of traffic remaining open. Nighttime lane closures and system ramp closures are anticipated.
Schedule
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in summer 2024.
