Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing a rehabilitation pavement replacement project along approximately 1.2 miles of Silvernail Frontage Road, from Maple Avenue to Elmhurst Road, Waukesha County. The project proposal includes the following work:
- Pavement replacement, including removal of full existing pavement structure, followed by placement of subgrade improvement, base aggregate, and asphalt pavement
- Shoulder improvements
- Cross culvert and driveway culvert replacement
- Upgrades to signing and marking through the project limits
Schedule
Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2028, but could be advanced to 2026, pending funding availability.
