The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed pavement improvements on WIS 80 from E Tama Street in Livingston to US 18 in Montfort, Iowa and Grant counties.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Montfort community building, 102 East Park Street, Montfort. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The purpose of this project is to replace deteriorating pavement on WIS 80 and improve safety at the US 18 and WIS 80 intersection. The proposed project would consist of a mill and overlay of the existing pavement, intersection improvements and replacement of several culverts.
