Governor Evers approves US 14 improvements, Richland Center

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $9,968,803 contract to replace the pavement along US 14 between Bohmann Drive and County O in Richland Center, Richland County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin March 23.

H. James & Sons, Inc is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve pavement conditions. Additional improvements include replacement of traffic signals at Bohmann Drive and County O, replacement of turn lanes at Peebles and Starlight with two-way left-turn lanes and updated pavement markings.

During construction, US 14 will remain open to through traffic. Access to residents and businesses at all times.

Project completion is scheduled for November 2026. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
