The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss intersection safety improvement work at the WIS 81 and Wisconsin Avenue intersection in Beloit, Rock County.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at City of Beloit Water Resources and Engineering Building, 2400 Springbrook Court, Beloit. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The purpose of this project is to address safety at the intersection of WIS 81 and Wisconsin Avenue. Improvement alternatives include right-in right-out and a compact roundabout. Construction is anticipated for 2029.
