Full closure of eastbound I-94 planned in St. Croix County

Closure of eastbound lanes necessary to set bridge girders on new structure over 100th Street

Release date: April 16, 2026

Eastbound I-94 will be fully closed from 11 p.m. Thursday, April 23 to 5 a.m. Friday, April 24 between exit 3 (WIS 35) and exit 10 (WIS 65), so crews can place girders on the new bridge being built over 100th Street.

During this closure, eastbound I-94 traffic will be detoured via WIS 35 and WIS 65.

The 100th Street structure is one of two being replaced in 2026 as part of a project in St. Croix County; the other bridge carries eastbound I-94 over Kinney Road.
