Full closure necessary to set bridge girders on new structure over Kinney Road
April 24, 2026
Eastbound I-94 will be fully closed from 11 p.m. Thursday, April 30 to 5 a.m. Friday, May 1 between exit 3 (WIS 35) and exit 10 (WIS 65), so crews can place girders on the new bridge being built over Kinney Road.
During this closure, eastbound I-94 traffic will be detoured via WIS 35 and WIS 65.
The Kinney Road structure is one of two being replaced in 2026 as part of a multiyear project in St. Croix County; the other bridge carries eastbound I-94 over 100th Street.
