To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $4.4 million contract to replace the pavement along WIS 113 between WIS 78 in Lodi and Mound Street in Baraboo, Sauk County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin Monday, July 13.
DL Gasser Construction is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve safety and road quality by replacing the pavement along WIS 113 between WIS 78 and Mound Street. A horizontal curve through Devils Lake State Park will be realigned to a safe radius.
During construction, WIS 113 will be closed to traffic during reconstruction of the curve south of County DL. WIS 113 will remain open to traffic under flagging operations for the remainder of construction.
Project completion is scheduled for mid-October 2026. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
