To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $2,561,885 contract to resurface WIS 19 between the Crawfish River and Gypsy Road, west of Watertown, Dodge and Jefferson counties. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin July 20.
Payne & Dolan is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve the pavement along 5.4-miles of WIS 19. Improvements include mill and overlay of the existing pavement and concrete surface repairs on the Crawfish River bridge.
During construction, WIS 19 will remain open under lane closures and flagging operations.
Project completion is scheduled for late September. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
