To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $6.55 million contract to resurface WIS 213 between WIS 11 in Orfordville and Burton Street in Beloit, Rock County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin July 20.
Rock Road is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve the pavement along WIS 213. Improvements include resurfacing WIS 213, upgrading curb ramps in Orfordville, guardrail replacement and realigning County H and County O.
During construction, WIS 213 will be closed and detoured utilizing WIS 81 and WIS 11.
Project completion is scheduled for early November 2026. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
