Proposed project replaces structure over the north fork of Beaver Creek north of Ettrick

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public input on a project replacing the bridge that carries US 53 over the north fork of Beaver Creek north of the Trempealeau County village of Ettrick.

Built in 1942, the bridge has reached the end of its service life. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing:
- Replacing the bridge
- Reconstructing approximately 340 feet of asphalt on both sides of the structure
- Installing new guardrail on all quadrants of the roadway approaches
- Moving two field entrances on the west side away from guardrail
During construction, US 53 will be closed at the bridge, and through traffic will be detoured.
