Description
The Wisconsin State Patrol is offering a 16-hour law enforcement advanced honor guard training. Although this training does not require completing the Wisconsin State Patrol Basic Course, honor guard experience is encouraged. This training will be a mix of informative classroom presentations and repetitions of practical applications.
The advanced honor guard course will begin in an entire-class training environment followed by several breakout training sessions. The breakout sessions include Marching, Facing Movements, Casket/Urn Movements, Flag Movements, Flag Folding, Casket/Urn Watch, and Rifle Team. The training will conclude by completing a combined Honor Guard Unit presentation in front of the class and instructors.
Honor-Treating someone special, doing more than is required and doing it with the right attitude.
Prerequisites
Although there are no prerequisites for this course, completion of the basic course is encouraged.
