Description
The Wisconsin State Patrol is offering a 16-hour law enforcement basic honor guard training. This training does not require any background knowledge and is designed for new honor guard members with little or no experience in honor guard disciplines. Training will offer both an informative classroom presentation and a repetition of practical application.
The basic honor guard course will begin in an entire-class training environment followed by several breakout training sessions. The breakout sessions include: Marching, Facing Movements, Saluting, and Handling Flags and Rifles. The training will conclude by completing a combined color team presentation in front of the class and instructors.
Honor: Treating someone special, doing more than is required and doing it with the right attitude.
