Location
WIS 13 (Lake Street) between County D and County F, in the city of Phillips.
Overview
This project is a pavement replacement of WIS 13 (thick mill and overlay of existing asphalt). Other improvements would include spot replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, inlets, guardrail and curb ramps.
The project will also perform maintenance on the WIS 13 bridge over the Elk River, including replacement of the guardrail.
Traffic Impacts
WIS 13 will remain open to traffic during most of construction through the city of Phillips. Motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations and staged construction with single lane closures.
A temporary detour will be in place for deep excavations where roadway settlement is occurring and for storm sewer upgrades.
Pedestrians will be detoured to accommodate curb ramp/sidewalk construction.
