Location
WIS 13 (Lake Street) between County D and County F, in the city of Phillips.
Overview
This project is a pavement replacement of WIS 13 (thick mill and overlay of existing asphalt). Other improvements would include spot replacement of curb & gutter, sidewalk, inlets, guardrail, and curb ramps.
The project will also perform maintenance on the WIS 13 bridge over the Elk River, including overlaying the deck and replacing approaches and railing.
Traffic Impacts
Traffic will encounter single lane closures on WIS 13 through the city of Phillips during construction, along with pedestrian detours to accommodate curb ramp/sidewalk construction.
Rehabilitation work on the Elk River Bridge will utilize temporary signals that will reduce traffic to a single lane.
