WIS 22 between WIS 54 and south Waupaca County B, Waupaca County
Overview
The purpose of the project is to address the existing asphalt pavement, which is showing signs of deterioration in the form of transverse cracking, rutting and alligator cracking. Several culverts underneath WIS 22 are deteriorating and in need of repair. Existing guardrail does not meet current standards and is in need of updating.
Proposed improvements include:
- Remove and replace 4 inches of asphalt
- Replace the 10 culverts identified as needing repair
- Upgrade the guardrail throughout the project to meet current standards
Traffic Impacts
The road is to remain open during construction using flagging operations as necessary. Access to residents and businesses along the project corridor will be provided during construction.
Real Estate
Some real estate may be required at culvert and guardrail replacement areas.
