Location
WIS 32, Railroad Avenue to Oneida County Line, Forest County
Project Overview
To address roadway deficiencies and safety, WisDOT is proposing:
- Mill existing pavement and replace the top 1 3/4 inches with asphalt pavement.
- Replace five culverts replacements throughout within the corridor.
- Replace curb and gutter at County S, Pine Lake Road, Lovers Lane Road, and Fire Tower Road intersections.
- Redefine ditch near County S.
- Add protective thermoplastic coating at the snowmobile crossing approximately 850’ west of Kempster Lane.
- Maintain county maintenance turnaround at Oneida/Forest County line.
- Replace pavement markings along the project.
Traffic Impacts
During construction, slight delays may occur during daylight working hours when traffic is reduced to one lane under flagging operations. These flagging operations will occur during culvert replacements, milling, paving, and potentially any shoulder work throughout the deration of the project. Access to all businesses and properties will be maintained at all times.
Real Estate
Real estate acquisition is anticipated for this project to allow construction and maintenance access for the ditching work about 800 feet east of County S on the north side of WIS 32.
