Proposed project will include repaving the road and adding a bicycle lane

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is holding a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed options for Business 51 from the Eau Claire River Bridge to Kent Street, Marathon County.
The meeting is scheduled for
Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 at 5:30 pm at the Schofield City Hall, 351 Alderson St, Schofield, WI 54476.
The proposed project is to replace the existing concrete pavement with asphalt, replace concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks, and add a bicycle lane.
