The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) currently has a state schedule with several contractors for heavy duty transit buses.
Subrecipients, through the WisDOT, may order vehicles from the state schedule after following the prescribed steps in the Heavy Duty Bus Toolkit.
Direct recipients in Wisconsin who receive Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding may order vehicles directly from the approved contractors on the WisDOT state schedule and must report directly to FTA.
