Traffic Impacts

During construction, the roadway will be open under staged traffic lane shifts and single lane closures with flaggers. Low traffic side roads may be temporarily closed.

Local, business, and emergency access will be maintained. However, temporary driveway closures will be necessary during parts of the construction process. WisDOT will contact homeowners and businesses in advance before closing a driveway.

Real Estate

Minor real estate in the form of temporary easements, permanent easements and fee may be required for construction of sidewalk and curb ramps throughout the project limits. WisDOT expects to begin real estate acquisition in Summer 2022. Driveway access will be assessed for potential modifications along the projects. Direct mailings and coordination will occur with property owners.
