US 14 Rehab Project – Walworth County

Location

Project Overview

WisDOT is proposing to improve approximately 3.1 miles of US 14 in Walworth County, from I-43 to County K. Project improvements include:

  • Urban pavement replacement with spot sections of new curb and gutter, and sidewalk, from I-43 to Sweet Road in the Village of Darien
  • 4.5-inch mill and overlay between Sweet Road and County K
  • Grading and drainage improvements at multiple locations

Public Involvement

On April 4, 2024 a public involvement meeting was held at the Darien Senior Center to share information on the project and collect public input. Materials and exhibits shared at the meeting are posted below:

Traffic Impacts

Traffic staging options are still being evaluated.

Schedule

Construction is currently scheduled for 2027.
