Location
Overview
WisDOT is proposing to rehabilitate the intersection of WIS 167 and Maple Road in Washington County through the Highway Safety Improvement Program. Proposed improvements include:
- Upgrading the intersection with new traffic signals.
- Add and lengthen right turn acceleration and deceleration lanes.
- Ditching and grading to accommodate roadway changes.
- Modifications to existing pork chop islands or adding new pork chop islands.
Traffic Impacts
One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open during construction; however, short-term closures in spot locations may be needed. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
Schedule
Construction is scheduled for summer 2024.
