Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to replace approximately 3.6 miles of pavement on WIS 175 from Maple Avenue to just north of County K in Washington County, WI. Proposed improvements include:
- pavement replacement
- replacement of culverts, curb and gutter, and storm sewer structures
- regrading of ditches
- reconstruction of existing curb ramps to meet current standards
- various bridge repairs to extend service life
- parking improvements to increase safety
Schedule
This project is currently in design. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2029.
Traffic Impacts
Traffic impacts are still being evaluated. WIS 175 will likely be closed to through traffic during construction, with a posted detour route in effect. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Join WisDOT for a public involvement meeting to learn more about the proposed improvements, get your questions answered, and provide input to the project team:

- 4 – 6 p.m. (open-house format, stop by at your convenience)
