Environmental Assessment (EA)
WisDOT will create an EA during phase 2 of the study. The EA will evaluate the environmental impacts of a number of alternatives developed during the study.
The EA phase began in 2010 with anticipated completion in 2017.
WisDOT environmental information
WisDOT projects and construction sometimes change the natural environment around a project area. To minimize the effects of road construction and development WisDOT works to reduce change to the natural environment and leads several efforts to restore project areas.
