Project Overview
The purpose of the proposed project is to replace the existing I-94 eastbound and westbound bridges over WIS 73 and Missouri Road in Dane County. The project will also address safety concerns at the WIS 73 interchange.
This project includes:
- Replacement of four I-94 bridges
- Replacement of pavement on I-94 to match into new structures
- Proposed roundabouts at the WIS 73 ramp terminals
Traffic Impacts
Traffic control during construction has not yet been determined. Preliminary traffic control concepts maintain two lanes of I-94 traffic in each direction during construction. Closures and detours on WIS 73 and Missouri Road are anticipated.

As materials and exhibits become available, they will be posted below to help give opportunity for public feedback. As the project continues to move forward, your input is welcomed and appreciated throughout the design process.
Schedule
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in late 2030.
