Project overview
The project will address the two-way stop-controlled Sauk Prairie Road intersection on US 12 in Sauk County. The proposed improvements include the following:
- Replacing the intersection with a single lane roundabout with concrete pavement
- Installing new lighting at the roundabout
- Installing new storm sewer at the roundabout
Schedule
- September 8, 2025 - Public Involvement Meeting and Local Officials Meeting
- Summer 2029 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
US 12 will remain open to through traffic and Sauk Prairie Road will be closed to through traffic during construction.
