US 14 (Oak Street to Walter Road), Arena to Mazomanie - Dane and Iowa Counties
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is in the process of pre-plan data gathering for a proposed project on US 14 from Oak Street, Arena to Walter Road, Mazomanie. The project will consist of a 5.8 miles mill and overlap, the box culvert located 1.2 miles east of County H will be replaced, and the box culvert located 1.4 miles east of County K will be repaired.
Schedule
- April 2023 - Public Involvement Meeting
- January 2022 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2030 - Construction anticipated, but advanceable to 2025 if funding is available
Traffic impacts/detours
US 14 will remain open to through traffic during construction through the use of flagging operations
