US 14 (Wright Road to County MM), City of Janesville - Rock County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is developing preliminary plans for a resurfacing project on US 14. The purpose of this project on US 14 is to address rutting and cracking with mill and overlay to deter future deterioration. The 3.726-mile-long project is located in the City of Janesville, from 0.17 miles east of Wright Road intersection to 0.3 miles south of County MM intersection.
Proposed improvements:
- Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay)
- Improve intersection at Harmony Town Hall Road
- Improve intersection at County M

- December 12, 2023 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2027 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
US 14 will remain open with lane closures. Access for local traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.
