Project overview​

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is developing preliminary plans for a resurfacing project on US 14. The purpose of this project on US 14 is to address rutting and cracking with mill and overlay to deter future deterioration. The 3.726-mile-long project is located in the City of Janesville, from 0.17 miles east of Wright Road intersection to 0.3 miles south of County MM intersection.

Proposed improvements:

• Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay)
• Improve intersection at Harmony Town Hall Road
• Improve intersection at County M​

• Winter 2022/2023 - Virtual Public Involvement Meeting
  
• 2027 - Construction anticipated

Traffic impacts/detours​

US 14 will remain open with lane closures. Access for local traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.
