WIS 19 (9th Street to Irene Street), City of Watertown - Jefferson County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve this 0.43 mile section of WIS 19 (Main Street) in the City of Watertown by reconstructing the roadway.
Project includes:
- Pavement replacement
- New storm sewer
- New curb and gutter
- New sidewalk
- Upgrade curb ramps
- Widen the roadway to add parking on the north side of WIS 19 where practicable
- Upgrades to street lighting
- The City of Watertown will be replacing sanitary sewer and water main utilities
Schedule
- 2030 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 19 will be closed and detoured utilizing WIS 26 and WIS 16. Access for residents and local businesses will be maintained to the greatest extent practicable.
