WIS 19 (Maunesha River to Palmer Street), Marshall to Waterloo - Dane County


Project overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is in the process of pre-plan data gathering for a proposed project on WIS 19 from the Maunesha River in Marshall to Palmer Street in Waterloo. The project will consist of a 4.3-mile mill and overlay with upgrades to the curb ramps, guardrail and miscellaneous bridge repair work.

Schedule

  • March 17, 2026 - Public Involvement Meeting
    • 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
      Marshall Elementary School - Library
      617 Madison Street, Marshall
  • 2029 - Construction anticipated

Traffic impacts/detours

WIS 19 will remain open to through traffic during construction with the use of flagging operations and temporary signals for bridge work.
