Project overview
The purpose of this project is to maintain connectivity along WIS 35 to Illinois and Iowa by addressing the deteriorating pavement. Culvert pipes are deteriorating and separating causing washouts and holes.
- Pavement replacement
- WIS 35: Treat asphalt pavement distress with mill and overlay. Mill 2.25 inches, mill and relay 3 inches and overlay with 5 inches of HMA pavement.
- Other work:
- Culvert pipe replacement to culvert pipe repair
- Guardrail replacement and grading
Schedule
- October 1, 2025 - Public Involvement Meeting
- Spring/Summer 2029 - Construction anticipated, advanceable to 2027
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 35 will be under bi-directional traffic with some temporary widening while maintaining access.
