WIS 60 bridges (Level Valley Road and County R), Village of Hustisford - Dodge County
Project overview
WIS 60 bridges over Level Valley Road and County R were constructed in 1993. The bridge decks have cracking, rust straining and spalls. The abutments on both structures have cracking. The parapet on the County R bridge have spalls. Neither structure currently have concrete approach slabs, and the concrete slope paving is exhibiting cracking and sliding.
The proposed improvement is to place concrete overlays on both bridges. This would entail milling 1'' off of the current concrete bridge decks before placing a 1.5'' concrete overlay. To aid in the transition from the roadway to the bridge, concrete approach slabs would be installed. Repairs would be made to the deteriorating concrete on the abutments, parapets, and underdecks as necessary. Concrete slope paving under each structure would be repaired or replaced as appropriate. Additionally, pavement markings on the structures would also be refreshed, enhancing the visibility of lane delineations on the bridges.

Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 60 is anticipated to be closed to all traffic during structure work. A detour will be posted utilizing WIS 67, WIS 33, an WIS 26.
