WIS 69 Centerline Rumble Strips (South County Line to North County Line), Monroe/Monticello/New Glarus - Green County

Project overview

The purpose of this project is to improve the safety of WIS 69 by adding centerline rumble strips. The segments that will be receiving them are rural, two-lane roads with a speed limit of 50 mph or over. The centerline rumble strips will reduce the number of head-on and sideswipe type crashes occurring on this roadway.

Traffic impacts/detours

WIS 69 will be open to traffic during construction. Work will take place under a lane closure with a flagging operation.
