WIS 69 (Cow Path Lane to Dane County Line), New Glarus to Verona - Green County
Project overview
The pavement on this section of WIS 69 between Cow Path Lane and Dane County Line is deteriorating with extensive cracking. Proposed improvements include:
- Install centerline and shoulder rumble strips
- Widen paved shoulders to 5' outside of New Glarus area
- Add new pavement markings
- Replace deteriorating culverts
- Replace beam guard
- Addition of dedicated left turn lanes for south bound traffic at Cow Path Lane and the southern entrance to New Glarus Brewing Company
- Addition of a dedicated left turn lane for north bound traffic at Old Madison Road
- Replace curb ramps located at the intersections of County H, 14th Avenue, 11th Avenue, Sugar River State Recreation Trail crossing and 6th Avenue

- 2031 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
Traffic will be maintained under flagging operations for the majority of construction
WIS 69 will be closed during culvert pipe replacement and bridge work
