WisDOT develops transportation plans in cooperation with the public, state and federal review agencies. WisDOT offered a variety of statewide public outreach activities and options throughout the Wisconsin State Airport System 2030 public planning process. Activities included informational meetings, a stakeholder group, a video, as well as several media outreach formats (WisDOT Website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). Appendix A of the Wisconsin State Airport System 2030 Plan discusses the plan outreach efforts.
WisDOT conducted an open house and public hearing on the final draft Wisconsin State Airport System Plan 2030 on Thursday, December 18, at Dane County Regional Airport in Madison. The final draft plan and SEE were available for public review and comment through December 28, 2014.
