Project overview
The purpose of this project is to maintain connectivity along US 12 by addressing the existing roadway pavement conditions. WisDOT is proposing to resurface 3.4 miles of US 12 between Terrace Avenue and Gammon Road. Additional improvements include:
- Replacement/upgraded beam guard
- Signal updates
- Gammon Road interchange
- Mineral Point Road interchange
- Old Sauk Road interchange
- Curb ramp replacement
- Deck repair and overlay of both bridges over Greenway Boulevard
Schedule
- May 28, 2025 - Public Involvement
- Summer 2029 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
Work is anticipated to take place under lane closures and ramp closures will be expected during evening work hours.
