WisDOT held the third PIM for the US 51 (Stoughton Road) North Study April 18 to present the updated study purpose and need and gather feedback on alternative concepts developed throughout the corridor. In addition, the city of Madison will have a representative available to provide updates on the city's Northeast area plan. Study location

The US 51 (Stoughton Road) North Study begins at the WIS 30 interchange in Madison and continues to I-39/90/94 in the town of Burke.

Study overview

The North Study will assess how best to accommodate traffic volumes with a focus on safety issues that affect travel along Stoughton Road.
