WIS 78 (County E to west Mt Horeb Village limits), Argyle to Mt Horeb - Dane County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing improvements along 0.88 miles of WIS 78. The project starts at County E to Mt Horeb Village limit. This proposed project will replacement the pavement and rehabilitate the structures.
Proposed Improvements:
- Replace pavement
- Repairs to be made to the bridge structure
- Culvert Replacement along the segment
Schedule
- Spring 2024 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2029 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
Construction will be staged, with closure for through traffic during grading and paving operations. Through traffic will utilize US 14, US 12 and US 151. (Expected to take 4-5 months)
