WIS 81 (Willow Creek Bridge to County K), Avon to Newark - Rock County

Project overview

The purpose of this project is a pavement rehabilitation of WIS 81 due to aging and cracking pavement. Paved shoulders will be widened from the existing 10-foot aggregate to a 5-foot paved and 5-foot aggregate shoulder. Shoulder and centerline rumble strips will be installed to address safety concerns.

Traffic impacts/detours

WIS 81 will be closed to through traffic during construction utilizing WIS 11 and WIS 213. Access will remain open for residents and businesses.
