Sponsor's Guide Certification Training

The Sponsor’s Guide Certification Training and the Title VI Training are required by WisDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to ensure sponsors are well-equipped to deliver non-traditional transportation projects. These trainings are available through the WisDOT Learn Center and should be completed by all members of the project team.

Within 30 days of training completion, the sponsor must prepare and submit SG18 Certification for Non-Traditional Project Administration and Delivery to the regional Local Program Project Manager (LPPM) identified in the award letter. This form is required by WisDOT.

The project State Municipal Agreement (SMA) will be processed upon verification of completed trainings by the regional LPPM, receipt of the SG00 Sponsor’s Guide Acknowledgement Form, and acceptance of the SG18 Certification for Non-Traditional Project Administration and Delivery form.
